Position Summary

Sarah Kowitt, PhD, is looking to hire an hourly temporary employee (around 5-10 hours a week) to work in the Department of Family Medicine. The temporary employee will primarily be working on a tobacco health communication project. Responsibilities include:

1. Assisting with peer-reviewed publications and presentations
2. Helping prepare the launch of a pilot randomized controlled trial
3. Assisting with quantitative data monitoring and analysis

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements

Master’s degree in a discipline related to the field assigned; or Bachelor’s degree in a discipline related to the field assigned and two years of research/analysis, preferably with one year in a supervisory role; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.

Management Preferences

• Coursework in public health.
• Proactive individual who has outstanding interpersonal and writing skills with meticulous attention to detail.
