  • Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biology or physics or related science or equivalent.
  • Ability to learn independently, with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Perform experimental assays and prepare solutions.
  • Perform molecular cloning, gene expression profiling, and live imaging with microscopes.
  • Purify DNA and RNA for the production of genetic manipulation and perform tail vein injections.
  • Perform molecular biology, biochemistry and cell biology on mouse and human bone marrow.
  • Perform routine histological techniques including blood smears and cytospins.
  • Keep laboratory records, and maintain and order lab supplies.
  • Assist with manuscript preparation.
  • Perform other related duties necessary to the functioning of the lab.
