Qualifications

• Research/publication record in machine learning or a related field.
• Programming experience (e.g. Python).
• PhD or equivalent education and experience and must be enrolled Fall 2027.

Responsibilities

• Developing an original research agenda and contributing to ongoing collaborations.
• Designing trustworthy models through explainability and interpretability.
• Publishing papers, filing patents, and presenting results at conferences.
• Collaborating with Seagate's global teams across sites.
• Evaluating emerging approaches for explainability and trustworthy AI.
• Providing guidance for future Seagate products.
