UNSW is seeking a Research Fellow (Level B) to contribute to the Centre for Social Impact’s research agenda. The role involves independent and collaborative studies, producing academic and practitioner outputs, and supporting grant applications.

Based at UNSW Kensington Campus, Sydney, the Fellow will work with Chief Investigators on ARC projects, publish findings, and engage with external partners to strengthen regional economies through evidence-based policy and practice.

Formación

• PhD in business-related discipline with expertise in qualitative and mixed methodologies.
• Up-to-date knowledge on impact investing, regional economic development, or civic wealth creation.
• Strong track record in high-quality research with leadership capacity.
• Proven involvement with industry and academic collaborations.
• Excellent communication and networking with diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to work in cross-disciplinary teams and with external partners.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct independent or collaborative research to support CSI strategy pillars.
• Publish scholarly work and contribute to practitioner outputs.
• Develop competitive grant applications and manage project administration.
• Participate in conferences and workshops.
• Supervise research students and assistants when required.
• Lead place-based focus groups and engage participants.
• Provide project management leadership to deliverables.
