Job Description

A Research Fellow at Mayo Clinic is a temporary position intended to provide training and education in research. Individuals will train in the multiple sclerosisresearch program under principal investigator Eoin P. Flanagan, M.B., B.Ch. Qualified individuals will demonstrate the potential for research as evidenced by their training and peer-reviewed publications and should become competitive for national research grants. Upon background check and CCATS Executive Committee approval, Research Fellow may have patient/research subject contact directly relating to and incidental to the original research program.

About CMSAN: The vision for CMSAN is to accelerate translational discovery and usher in a new era of “cure and precure” by leveraging the center’s biorepository and Mayo’s Precure initiative to identify at-risk individuals before symptoms appear, enabling earlier interventions such as biomarker-guided treatments and vaccine trials. The CMSAN priorities include expanding decentralized, multi-site clinical trials across Mayo Clinic, advancing innovative therapies, strengthening partnerships with industry and advocacy groups, deepening collaborations across campuses and globally, building an AI-driven data infrastructure, and recruiting and mentoring the next generation of clinician-scientists.
