Mayo Clinic is seeking a Research Fellow in the Department of Cardiovascular Diseases. The role involves setting up mechanical research equipment, developing experimental protocols, and biomechanics development in orthopedics. Expect involvement with imaging modalities and advanced data analysis using Matlab and/or C++.

Strong programming in Python and AI/ML frameworks, along with a Ph.D. in a relevant field, is required.

Qualifications

• Must have a Ph.D. in a field deemed relevant by the program.
• Research Fellow is appropriate for individuals who have completed no more than one prior postdoctoral fellowship, at Mayo Clinic or elsewhere.

Responsabilités

• Set up mechanical research equipment and develop experimental protocols.
• Biomechanics development in orthopedics and implement protocols.
• Provide engineering technical expertise and analysis; use Matlab and/or C++ as needed.
• May work in a special engineering group, process and test algorithms, informatics, data for computer programming.
