We are seeking a Research Engineer Intern to join the Localization & Mapping team at Plus, focusing on a project to build and validate a closed‑loop "long‑tail data engine" that improves generic‑object detection on a curated long‑tail benchmark. The project will first establish a measurable long‑tail evaluation benchmark from existing logs and then create a prototype using simulation tools, automated data mining, and foundation models.

Responsibilities

Qualifications

• Pursuing MS or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or a similar technical field of study, or equivalent practical experience.

• Experience in 3D computer vision.
• Publication record in relevant venues (CVPR, ICLR, ICCV, ECCV, NeurIPS, AAAI, SIGGRAPH, ICRA, IROS, etc.).
