Job summary

Melian is building the context and capabilities to empower security teams. We’re seeking a candidate who brings strong Python development, ML model training experience, and a hands-on, collaborative mindset to strengthen SecOps across the organization.

You will design experiments, evaluate models, and communicate findings clearly while owning initiatives and working with cross-functional teams to improve security posture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field or equivalent.
• Strong software engineering skills, especially in Python.
• Hands-on experience training, fine-tuning or evaluating ML models.
• Research-oriented mindset: design clear experiments and learn quickly from results.
• Ownership, clear communication, and a collaborative approach.
• Security background is a plus, not required.

• Contribute to SecOps strategy and incident response.
• Collaborate with security teams to improve tooling and processes.
