Job summary

Rentec is seeking engineers to design and build software for research and data processing, and to develop technical models for predicting and trading markets.

Ideal candidates have a degree in a relevant field and proven experience in large-scale systems, low-level HPC, and distributed/GPU/compilers. Remote options not specified.

Qualifications

• Degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, physics, or a related discipline.
• Demonstrated experience designing, developing, and maintaining large software systems in C/C++23 or Rust.
• Strong understanding of low-level CPU/GPU details for high-performance computing.
• Track record of exceptional intellectual achievement.
• Experience in distributed computing, GPU programming, compiler design, and/or functional languages (a plus).
