The role emphasizes reviewing test data, ensuring hardware traceability, and supporting aftertreatment analyses. Responsibilities include CAD-based print reading, design of aftertreatment components, collaboration with purchasing for prototyping, and performing FMEA and validation testing to drive reliable performance.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in engineering, materials science, chemistry or related field.
• Bachelor's degree required.

Responsibilities

• Review test cell and field data for aftertreatment or performance issues.
• Ensure all cell hardware is tracked electronically to accumulate hours.
• Troubleshoot and fix aftertreatment related issues/codes in test cell.
• Print releasing, CAD reading and use of CAD-based programs.
• Design aftertreatment components (canning, injectors, DEF pumps).
• Collaborate with purchasing for quotes and prototyping parts.
• Perform FMEA analysis and validation planning and testing.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Review test cell and field data and ensure no issues with Aftertreatment or performance shift.
• Ensure all cell hardware is accounted for, current and future programs. Make sure they are tracked properly electronically to accumulate hours.
• Troubleshoot and fix aftertreatment related issues/codes in test cell, especially during install
• Print releasing, knowledge and working with CAD based program and print reading.
• Component design (aftertreatment canning, injectors DEF pumps)
• Working with a purchasing team for quotes and proto-type part procurement
• FMEA analysis and validation planning and testing

Requirements

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• 2+ Years of experience AND Bachelor?s degree in an accredited Engineering, Material Science, Chemistry or related curriculum

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Test or Design Experience
• 3D CAD program experience

DESIRED SKILLS

• Proficiency in DatK and Canape
• Excellent analytical skills
• Experience with engine and/or aftertreatment performance data reduction and analysis.
• Strong understanding of engine and aftertreatment systems.
• Ability to draw conclusions from analysis and make decisions
