Google Ads Metrics is the data science team within Ads Metrics, supporting the SAGE organization to advance ads products from classic text ads to advanced formats like Discovery ads. Analyses help improve UI and page experiences across ad products.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. US: $147000 - $210000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a quantitative field.
• 3 years of analytics experience or PhD degree.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and clarify business questions and translate them into tractable analyses or models.
• Design and evaluate models to express and solve defined problems with data.
• Gather information on goals, priorities, and data infrastructure surrounding the questions.
• Gather, extract, and compile data across sources using SQL, R, Python and ensure data quality.
