OHSU-PSU School of Public Health is seeking a Research Data Analyst I to support an employment and perinatal health project. The role involves data management, statistical analysis, visualization, and interpretation of quantitative data, under supervision, collaborating with investigators and staff.
The position includes preparing reports, abstracts, manuscripts, presentations, literature reviews, and disseminating findings to support project goals.

The Research Data Analyst I supports research activities for an employment and perinatal health project through research data management, statistical analysis, data visualization, and interpretation of quantitative research data. Under general supervision, the incumbent collaborates on the design, documentation, testing, implementation, and analysis of research studies. The position assists with maintaining research data systems, preparing reports and visualizations, and communicating research findings to support project goals and dissemination activities.
Master's degree in public health, epidemiology, biostatistics, data science, psychology, sociology, health sciences, or a related field;
OR
Bachelor's degree in a related field AND two years of relevant research or data analysis experience.
Knowledge of research methodology and statistical analysis.
Proficiency with statistical software such as R, SAS, SPSS, Stata, Python, or equivalent.
Ability to manage, organize, validate, and analyze research datasets.
Ability to prepare reports, charts, tables, and data visualizations.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently on assignments of moderate scope while collaborating effectively with investigators and research staff.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
Graduate training in epidemiology, biostatistics, public health, or related field.
Experience with manuscript preparation and scientific dissemination.
Experience with population health, health services, or public health research.
