## Research Data, AI & Innovation LeadApplylocations: US - MD, Rockvilletime type: Full timeposted on: Posted Todayjob requisition id: 41634**Job Family:**Data Science & Analysis**Travel Required:**None**Clearance Required:**Ability to Obtain Public Trust**What You Will Do:*** Leads data strategy, analytics, and AI/ML efforts, ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with research and operational goals.* Defines data architecture and pipeline strategy, integrating diverse datasets and supporting high-throughput data processing.* Oversees development of AI/ML models and analytics tools, including rapid prototyping and implementation of responsible AI practices.* Transitions prototypes into production-ready solutions, coordinating with platform, infrastructure, and security teams.* Establishes data governance, quality assurance, and reproducibility standards, ensuring documentation and compliance.* Advises stakeholders on data and AI opportunities and mentors technical teams to build capability and innovation.**What You Will Need:*** Master’s degree in data science, bioinformatics, computer science, or related field* 8 years delivering data or AI solutions.* Experience with large-scale data systems, cloud-based analytics, and biomedical or scientific datasets.* Proven ability to lead cross-functional technical teams and implement enterprise data architectures and ML operations.* Experience in regulated environments with knowledge of data security and privacy frameworks.* Must be able to obtain and maintain a Federal or DoD "public trust"; candidates must obtain approved adjudication of their public trust prior to onboarding with Guidehouse.
