Job Description
The Hematology and Oncology department is in search of a Research Coordinator III to support research and academic endeavors related to clinical research protocols. The ideal candidates for this position should possess prior research experience in clinical studies and demonstrate a basic understanding of cancer biology and/or bone marrow transplantation. The research group primarily concentrates on non-interventional observational studies aimed at examining complications associated with cancer therapies. These studies employ a diverse range of methodologies including clinical epidemiology, health services, and translational approaches. This position will coordinate day-to-day activities in the cancer center related to clinical study activities, ensuring accurate data collection, documentation, and organization of clinical research protocols. The primary responsibilities include patient enrollment, screening, monitoring of research participants, and reporting to research sponsors. The position requires prior research experience and able to work independently with minimal oversight, Monday- Friday, 8am-5pm.
