Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Main Campus is seeking a Research Coordinator I to enroll patients in clinical trials, conduct study visits and collect questionnaires for cardiovascular research. You will support regulatory documents, scheduling and data capture across multiple active studies in interventional cardiology. Work schedule is Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED plus 2 years of clinical research or healthcare experience, or an Associate's/Bachelor's degree in healthcare or science.
• Demonstrated proficiency with word processing, spreadsheets, databases, presentation software, data entry, and EPIC.
• Understanding of basic study design concepts.
• Within 90 days of hire, complete Human Subjects Research certification per Cleveland Clinic guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assist with coordinating the compliant implementation and conduct of human subject research projects.
• Maintain regulatory documents and binders, conduct data management, complete IRB submissions and communicate with the research team.
• Report and complete serious adverse events and/or safety logs.
• Communicate with sponsors, monitors and research personnel to ensure study compliance.
• Collaborate with investigators, sponsors and research staff to plan, conduct and evaluate project protocols, including recruitment.
• Schedule site visits, initiation visits, webinars, monitoring and close-out visits.
• Monitor and report project status and research data.
• Complete regulatory documents, data capture, monitoring plans and protocol activities.
• Assist with audits and maintaining research tools.
