UTHealth Houston's Department of Anesthesiology seeks a Research Coordinator I to support Dr. Turan's lab in perioperative outcomes, postoperative pain, regional anesthesia, and persistent surgical pain research.

The role involves participant recruitment, data collection, and data management under supervision. Responsibilities include preparing reports, assisting with regulatory submissions, budgeting, data analysis, and collaboration with the Office of Sponsored Projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field required.
• May substitute required education with equivalent years of experience beyond minimum.

Responsibilities

• Assist with human subjects research activities, including recruitment, data collection through surveys, interviews, and observations, and ensure adherence to study protocols.
• Organize, clean, and maintain databases to ensure accurate data entry and preparation for analysis.
• Prepare annual progress reports and applications for committees; assist with grants submissions with the Office of Sponsored Projects.
