Rutgers University–New Brunswick invites applications for a Research Associate non tenure track position in human pluripotent stem cell biology and neuroscience. The Jiang lab studies glia, brain development and neurological disease using organoid systems and chimeric mouse brain models.

Our work employs CRISPR genome editing, electrophysiology, imaging, sequencing, and data analysis to uncover disease mechanisms and develop glia-based therapies.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in neuroscience, stem cell biology, or closely related field.

Responsibilities

• Investigate human pluripotent stem cell biology and neuroscience
• Employ human organoid systems and in vivo mouse brain models
• Utilize CRISPR/Cas9, electrophysiology, imaging, sequencing, and data analysis
