Job summary
UNSW is seeking a Research Associate (Level A) in the School of Photovoltaic and Renewable Energy Engineering (SPREE). The role focuses on developing spin-physics models for singlet fission and applying advanced spectroscopy to quantify spin dynamics under magnetic fields.
You will work with a multidisciplinary team and contribute to ARC Future Fellowship research. The position involves theoretical and experimental work, data analysis, and dissemination through publications and conferences.
Qualifications
- PhD in a related discipline or relevant work experience.
- Experience modelling spin physics of triplet excitons.
- Experience with magnetic-field dependent imaging and spectroscopy.
- Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team of physicists, chemists and engineers.
- Proven record of high-quality academic research and publications.
- Ability to work with limited supervision.
Responsibilities
- Develop spin-physics models for singlet fission.
- Apply magnetic-field-dependent spectroscopy to study spin dynamics.
- Perform theoretical and experimental research and data analysis.
- Contribute to design principles for singlet fission materials and devices.
- Publish findings and present at conferences.
