The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Instructor positions in the Academic Support Staff. This appointment will be initially for one (1) year and continuation during that time period and renewal are based on satisfactory performance and availability of funding (limited to three (3) years). Applicants must have an M.D and/or Ph.D or equivalent degree.

Responsibilities

• Support the research missions of the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine.
• Opportunity to receive mentorship in grants writing and grants proposals suitable to early-stage academic investigators.
• Conduct research in pathology and work on a sponsored program; maintain funded research involvement.
