UTHealth Houston is seeking a Research Associate to plan, conduct, and support research projects in a dynamic healthcare environment. This role involves collecting and analyzing scientific data, maintaining compliance with regulatory standards, and providing guidance to laboratory staff.

The Research Associate plans, conducts, and supports a variety of research projects by collecting, analyzing, and interpreting scientific data. Maintains compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards, assists with project direction and research activities, supports publications and grant submissions, and provides guidance and training to laboratory staff to ensure accurate and efficient research outcomes.

The Research Associate plans, conducts, and directs a wide variety of research processes. Assists with the day-to-day activities for research project(s) and may impact the success of the research project(s).
• Bachelor's Degree in a related field required
• Master's Degree preferred
3 years of related research experience required. May substitute required experience with equivalent years of education beyond the minimum education requirement.
Exerts up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 10 pounds frequently and/or a negligible amount constantly to move objects.
