Job summary

Altasciences is seeking a Laboratory Operations professional to support day-to-day lab activities in the Laboratory Sciences department. You will collect and review data for several service groups and help prepare study worksheets, SOPs, and controlled documents.

Successful candidates will have 1–3 years of lab experience, an associate degree in a scientific field (Bachelor’s preferred), and basic to intermediate computer skills.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in scientific discipline or equivalent education and laboratory experience, Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• 1-3 years relevant laboratory experience.
• Basic to Intermediate computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Laboratory Maintenance (cleaning, ordering supplies, equipment PM, etc.).
• Collect and organize laboratory data according to the appropriate oversight document (ex: Protocol, Analytical Study Plan, SOPs).
• Create and/or revise SOP and SOP forms.
• Work independently in study-related tasks.
• Perform quality control review of laboratory and study records.
• Assist with method development activities.
