Job summary

Research Associate II position in South San Francisco, CA is seeking a candidate with hands-on small animal in vivo experience to support monitoring, dosing, necropsy, organ collection, sample processing, and related study activities with infectious and/or biohazardous materials.

The ideal candidate will have a BS or MS in Microbiology, Molecular Biology, Immunology, or related field, 1+ years of animal handling experience, strong data analysis skills, and the ability to work 40 hours per week,

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Microbiology, Molecular Biology, Immunology, or a related field.
• 1+ years of hands‑on small animal in vivo experience or equivalent.
• Animal handling experience is required; internship or academic research may be considered.
• Strong experience with small animal handling, administration/dosing, sampling, necropsy, organ collection, and dissection.
• Experience with i.p., s.c., and p.o. dosing.
• Ability to collect, organize, analyze, and interpret experimental data.

Responsibilities

• Support animal monitoring, dosing, necropsy, organ collection, and sample processing.
• Work with infectious and/or biohazardous materials following safety protocols.
• Maintain meticulous lab records and ensure compliance with ethical standards.

Required Qualifications
