Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Understand and interpret research protocols and procedures.
• Participate in the publication of significant results.
• Maintain overview of relevant research findings.
• Ensure all research is undertaken according to good research practice.
• Keep abreast of current publications related to methods and developments.
• Collect, prepare, analyze, dissect, and evaluate specimens or tissue cultures.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment.
• Perform a variety of routine assays, tests, and studies.
• Perform calculations to complete research test results, collect data, and perform statistical analysis.
• Adhere to University and unit-level policies and safeguards.
• Support ongoing project needs and recruitment activities in multisite and single-site studies.
• Obtain informed consent and explain study procedures to participants clearly and ethically.
• Assist with scheduling, preparing, and conducting participant visits in alignment with protocols.
• Conduct study assessments and collect clinical or behavioral data.
• Coordinate with laboratory staff for timely processing and tracking of samples.
• Maintain study visit forms, source docs, and participant records.
