Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in economics or a closely related field such as statistics, mathematics, or computer science.
• Coursework or experience in economics required; econometrics, mathematics, statistics, and computer science desirable.
• Proficiency in programming languages and statistical software such as Stata, R, Python, or Matlab desirable.

Responsibilities

• Work with PhD economists on policy briefs and academic research projects.
• Gather and analyze data, program economic models, and create charts for presentations on economic and financial conditions.
• Engage in econometric or theoretical research, write for Bank publications, and present to civic and educational groups.
