Responsibilities

• Conduct literature and document reviews; design instruments.
• Develop interview and focus group protocols and conduct sessions.
• Coordinate data collection, including supervising focus group interviewers.
• Manage survey data collection, entry, cleaning and processing; code and analyze data.
• Assist with report writing and other assigned tasks.

Minimum Qualifications

• Earned PhD in Early Childhood Education
• Attendance at the Essentials Instructional Practices in Early Literacy Training of Trainers ( TOT ) in Birth to 3 and/or Prekindergarten
• Knowledge and/or experience conducting interviews and focus groups
• Strong background in qualitative research
• Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
• Good command of Google Suite
• Open to learning new technology and research approaches

The Department of Human Development and Child Studies ( HDCS ), housed in the School of Education and Human Services, invites applications to a part-time Research Associate position to work on a newly funded research and evaluation project on Early Literacy coaching.

Job Duties
