Key Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze crime data from multiple sources, including law enforcement reports, public records, and law enforcement databases from departments across the United States.
• Develop crime summaries that analyze trends as well as the time and location of incidents.
• Create charts and graphs based on crime data to support case-related reporting.
• Produce geographical maps related to the collected crime data.
• Review incident reports and security logs as part of research activities.
• Conduct research using internet sources, general articles, books, and proprietary databases for reports supporting civil liability cases involving claims of inadequate security, negligent hiring, and workplace violence.
• Maintain a research and resource database and library to organize ongoing case materials.
• Maintain ongoing status of case work.
• Record all time and tasks performed.
• Complete other projects as needed.
