Role Description The Research Associate is a full-time, on-site role based in Columbus, OH, supporting clinical and translational research activities within Nationwide Children’s Hospital and the Abigail Wexner Research Institute. This position assists with designing and implementing research protocols, including participant recruitment, data collection, data entry, and maintenance of accurate and confidential study records. The role involves conducting literature reviews, preparing materials for Institutional Review Board (IRB) submissions, and ensuring adherence to regulatory, ethical, and institutional guidelines. The Research Associate collaborates with investigators and multidisciplinary teams to analyze data, prepare figures and tables, and contribute to abstracts, manuscripts, and grant applications. Daily tasks may also include coordinating study logistics, communicating with clinical staff and families, and helping to maintain laboratory or research equipment and supplies.
