Job Overview

Provide guidance and support for a research‑practice partnership with a community‑based organization that provides violence prevention programs in Central Texas schools. Coordinate research activities, supervise project staff, ensure compliance, and manage grant reporting.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise PeaceRox Project data collection, maintaining IRB compliance and developing survey instruments.
  • Coordinate with participants, disseminate surveys, track progress, troubleshoot problems, and conduct data quality checks.
  • Perform statistical analysis of PeaceRox data and provide interpretations for reports, manuscripts, and briefs.
  • Prepare reports and manuscripts for publication using PeaceRox data.
  • Disseminate research findings through presentations at meetings and conferences.
  • Supervise and mentor graduate and undergraduate students during data collection, analysis, and manuscript preparation.
  • Develop supplemental grants to accompany the initial grant as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
  • Doctoral degree in Sociology, Human Development and Family Science, Psychology, Demography, Statistics, or related field.
  • Demonstrated expertise with quantitative data and longitudinal, multilevel, or dyadic data analysis.
  • Experience using statistical packages such as SAS, Stata, R, or SPSS.
  • Experience in child and adolescent development, education, and delinquency prevention research.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with NIH proposal preparation and submission.
  • Experience with primary data collection, interview, and survey data analysis.
  • Experience supervising and/or mentoring undergraduate and graduate students.
  • Strong time‑management, attention to detail, and problem‑solving capabilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with a team as needed.
Salary Range

$65,000 plus depending on qualifications.
