Job summary

The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston invites applications for a Research Assistant to support the PI and leadership of the Psychological Intervention and Research Laboratory for Mood Spectrum Disorders. You will assist with FDA/IRB-approved psychedelic trials and lead the platform of systematic reviews on psychedelics.

Additionally, depending on background, you may analyze data, write manuscripts, and perform psychological autopsies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required or equivalent years of experience.
• Experience with research (student researcher/volunteer).
• Experience with clinically relevant and psychosocial interviews (e.g., SCID, YMRS, MADRS, Diamond).
• Familiarity with data analysis and research software.

Responsibilities

• Support FDA- and IRB-approved open-label psychedelic trial under PI supervision.
• Lead platform of systematic reviews around psychedelics.
• Assist with data analysis, manuscript writing, and psychological autopsies as needed.
• Coordinate research activities and ensure compliance with protocols.
