Job description

Position Title

Research Assistant Professor of Bioinformatics – Ji Lab, Maywood-Health Sciences Campus, SURGERY Department, Full‑time, Exempt.

Responsibilities

Perform hands‑on exploratory and regulatory biomarker analysis, large‑scale proteomics, metabolomics, and lipidomics. Develop predictive models and identify molecular endotypes for pulmonary diseases including ARDS, sarcoidosis, sepsis, and trauma. Design data analysis plans and implement cutting‑edge bioinformatics and biostatistics methods to integrate clinical and trans‑omics datasets. Expect productivity in publications and independent grant acquisition.

Qualifications

PhD or MD in bioinformatics, computer science, or biostatistics, or equivalent field.

$80,000 – $100,000 per year.

Mandatory Health Requirements
