Qualifications

• Two years in research environment.

Responsibilities

• Under direct supervision, perform experiments and procedures as assigned; provide support for research projects.
• Assist with simple to moderately complex experiments under PI guidance and maintain data/results.
• Prepare specimens and/or mix chemicals and other solutions and set up lab experiments.
• Mentor and/or train less experienced staff; assign work when required.
• Maintain inventory of research supplies; prepare purchase orders for reagents and supplies.
• Perform routine maintenance of equipment; wash and sterilize glassware.
• Perform other related duties.

• May assign work to less experienced staff as required.
• Maintains inventory of all research supplies; prepares purchase orders for reagents and supplies.
• Performs routine maintenance of equipment.
• Washes and sterilizes glassware.
• Performs other related duties.
