Job summary

Qualifications

• Associates degree in science (or related field) or HS/GED is required.
• 2+ years of related experience.
• Two years in a research environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with simple to moderately complex experiments under PI supervision.
• Prepare specimens and mix chemicals and solutions for experiments.
• Mentor and/or train less experienced staff.
• May assign work to less experienced staff as required.
• Maintain inventory of all research supplies and prepare purchase orders for reagents.
• Perform routine maintenance of equipment.
• Wash and sterilize glassware.
• Perform other related duties.
