Boston Children's Hospital in Boston, MA is seeking a Research Assistant to join the Ordovas-Montanes Lab, which studies how inflammation shapes memory formation in barrier tissues and how recurrent intestinal inflammation may influence disease.

You will perform routine experiments, develop new techniques, and be mentored to become an independent scientist, gaining skills in molecular cloning, cell culture, organoids, and single-cell RNA-sequencing within a collaborative biomedical research

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in biology, immunology, chemistry or genomics; 2+ years bench experience.
• Strong communication, critical thinking, problem solving and time management.
• Ability to learn quickly and work independently within a team.
• Experience with mammalian cell culture and molecular biology is a plus.

• Performs routine laboratory experiments with standard equipment and verifies results.
• Troubleshoots procedures and suggests alternative approaches.
