Boys Town National Research Hospital seeks a full-time Research Assistant in the Physiology of Walking & Engineering Rehabilitation (PoWER) Laboratory. The role involves hands-on human-participant research, data collection, and exposure to neuroscience/biomechanical methods.
Successful applicants will work with lab staff, gain daily clinical experience, and contribute to manuscripts and abstracts, while adapting to a dynamic research environment and patient interactions.
We are recruiting for a full-time research assistant position with the Physiology of Walking & Engineering Rehabilitation (PoWER) Laboratory at the Institute for Human Neuroscience at Boys Town National Research Hospital. Applicants with interest and previous experience in research and/or interest in physical or occupational therapy will be given preference. Successful applicants will have extensive opportunities to learn the latest neuroscience/biomechanical methods, conduct hands-on research with human participants, receive daily clinical experience, as well as one- on-one patient interactions, and co-author manuscripts/scientific abstracts.
Full time, Monday - Friday. Weekend and Evening availability is required.
