UTHealth Houston's Marrelli Lab in the BRAINS Research Laboratory within the Department of Neurology seeks a wet-lab researcher to perform animal experiments and translational studies. The role involves mouse genotyping, microscopy, histology, microCT imaging, 3D image analysis, laser speckle imaging, and mouse surgeries, with emphasis on vascular biology and rigorous data collection.

The position will support the Marrelli Lab within the BRAINS Research Laboratory in the Department of Neurology.
Experience in vascular biology studies, experience with mouse models and handling mice, experience with microCT imaging and quantification is preferred.
The position would involve typical duties related to a wet lab with animal experiments (mouse genotyping, microscopy, histology, etc.) as well as microCT imaging and 3D image analysis, laser speckle contrast imaging, and mouse surgeries.
