Job summary

Johns Hopkins University is seeking a Research Assistant to oversee data collection, organization, and management for research studies, supporting a PI or research team. You will run routine and ad hoc reports, review data, and assist with data cleaning to ensure accuracy and prepare tables.

The role may include leading data collection tasks, developing efficient study processes, conducting literature searches, and assisting in drafting summaries for policy briefs or publications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
• Additional education may substitute for required experience and additional related experience may substitute for required education permitted by the JHU equivalency formula beyond a high school diploma/graduation equivalent, to the extent permitted by the JHU equivalency.

Responsibilities

• Oversee data collection, data organization, and/or data management for research studies.
• Run routine and ad hoc reports and review data using standard tools.
• Assist with data cleaning to ensure accuracy and prepare tables.
• Lead basic activities such as data collection and data entry.
• May lead specific tasks and develop processes to ensure study activities occur efficiently.
• May conduct literature searches to support faculty in research efforts.
