The New School seeks a Research Assistant to support Jessica Walker's promotion of her new book and to develop research for a graphic novel project. The role includes event facilitation around children’s publishing, and coordinating research with a shared repository.
You will meet with faculty, identify and document sources, and help execute social media plans for the project, with hybrid on-campus and remote work options.
The Research Assistant will work with Jessica Walker to support ongoing promotion of her recently released book as well as develop research and production for a new graphic novel project and support with event facilitation around the theme of children’s book publishing.
WORK MODE: Hybrid/Split - Employees hired for this position have regularly scheduled, consistent percentage of time on campus (ex 1-4x/week) and also work some of the time remotely.
#LI-DNI Hourly Rate: $31.37/hour
This position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement between SENS-UAW, Local 7902 and the University.
