The Research Assistant I provides assistance to the Principal Investigator andStudy Team coordinating research activities that may include recruiting participants, data collection and management and other research activities as assigned. The RA will assist with report generation and project close-out support.
The Research Assistant will play a key role in participant recruitment and study operations. Primary responsibilities include engaging active-duty service members in the primary clinic waiting area, explaining the study, and inviting eligible individuals to complete an online screening questionnaire. The Research Assistant will also assist with participant consent, answer questions about the study, support protocol amendments and regulatory requirements, and help ensure compliance with study procedures. This position requires an on-site presence at Womack Army Medical Center, primarily during morning sick call hours to support recruitment activities. The study will recruit up to nine (9) service members from units at Fort Bragg for enrollment. The project is currently in Phase I, which focuses on participant recruitment and enrollment. Phase II will involve facilitating and supporting focus groups to gather participant feedback and inform future program refinement.
$17.00 PER HOUR. Salaries are determined based on several factors including external market data, internal equity, and the candidate's related knowledge, skills, and abilities for the position.
