Responsibilities

• Assist with self-reporting baseline assessment measures.
• Assist with administrative logistics including consenting research participants, data collection, and scheduling.
• Executes, maintains research study to include data collection.
• Prepares research subjects for research study.
• Manages study documentation including filing.
• Prepares progress reports.
• Complies with applicable rules and regulations for the duty station.
• Documents all correspondence and communication pertinent to the research.
• Interacts with study and site personnel, research participants, The Geneva Foundation and sponsor.
• Promotes safety and confidentiality of research participants at all times.
• Creates and adheres to a data quality/QA plan.
• Assists with initial coding and data entry of structured questionnaires.

The Research Assistant I provides assistance to the Principal Investigator and
Study Team coordinating research activities that may include recruiting participants, data collection and management and other research activities as assigned. The RA will assist with report generation and project close-out support.

About The Project

The Research Assistant will play a key role in participant recruitment and study operations. Primary responsibilities include engaging active-duty service members in the primary clinic waiting area, explaining the study, and inviting eligible individuals to complete an online screening questionnaire. The Research Assistant will also assist with participant consent, answer questions about the study, support protocol amendments and regulatory requirements, and help ensure compliance with study procedures. This position requires an on-site presence at Womack Army Medical Center, primarily during morning sick call hours to support recruitment activities. The study will recruit up to nine (9) service members from units at Fort Bragg for enrollment. The project is currently in Phase I, which focuses on participant recruitment and enrollment. Phase II will involve facilitating and supporting focus groups to gather participant feedback and inform future program refinement.

Salary

$17.00 PER HOUR. Salaries are determined based on several factors including external market data, internal equity, and the candidate's related knowledge, skills, and abilities for the position.

• Demonstrates proficiency in performing basic study related procedures as required


• Maintains and updates files of all applicable regulatory documentation for IACUC or IRB (including protocols, approvals, amendments, modifications, etc.) as well as any communications with the sponsor or any other Federal or regulatory office (including prior approvals, change in scope, etc.)
