Nationwide Children's Hospital is seeking a hands-on scientist to develop, optimize, validate, and implement laboratory-developed tests (LDTs) using LC-MS/MS and GC-MS. You will design analytical methods, develop sample preparation workflows, and perform validation studies to bring new assays into routine clinical use.

We are seeking a hands-on scientist to develop, optimize, validate, and implement laboratory-developed tests (LDTs) using LC-MS/MS, GC-MS, and related mass spectrometry technologies. The successful candidate will design and troubleshoot analytical methods, develop sample preparation workflows, perform validation studies, analyze complex datasets, and collaborate with clinical and laboratory teams to bring new assays into routine clinical use. Candidates should have a BS, MS, or PhD in a relevant scientific field and demonstrated experience in quantitative mass spectrometry method development, assay validation, chromatography, sample preparation, and instrument troubleshooting.
