Job description

Developer of cosmetics and personal care items is seeking an experienced R&D Manager to join their team. The R&D Manager will be responsible for the development, formulation, and marketing of a wide range of innovative personal care products that include skin care, color cosmetics, and OTCs.

R&D Manager will have:

1. Experience developing formulations of Hair Care & Cosmetic Products
2. Experience with New Technology and Product Development
3. Able to contribute to the Strategy and Pipeline Development based on Benefit and Risk
4. Strong People and Department Management experience
5. Current and/or previous experience in a contract manufacturing company or a company with a high volume of new cosmetic or hair care formulations.
6. Work closely with Process Engineering Team and Manufacturing Team to achieve goals
7. Strong Leadership experience & experience Interfacing with clients.
8. Achieving growth in sales in R&D investment areas through successful promotion of new products. Presenting new products to clients.

Looking for an extraordinarily talented leader that can support the company’s growth objectives and innovation goals. The R&D Manager will have a BS/MS degree in science or related discipline along with 10+ years’ experience R&D within a contract packaging manufacturing company. Must have formulation experience.
