Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled R&D Scientist to lead and support new product development initiatives within the pharmaceutical industry. This role is responsible for identifying, investigating, and implementing new product concepts while ensuring compliance with corporate and regulatory guidelines. The ideal candidate will have strong laboratory management experience and the ability to balance R&D priorities with business development and customer needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Schedule daily activities to maintain customer satisfaction, internal efficiency, and optimal use of equipment.
  • Report progress of R&D activities to senior management.
  • Ensure R&D facilities and equipment are properly maintained and up to date.
  • Evaluate new projects before and during development in collaboration with senior leadership and other departments.
  • Balance department needs between R&D, business development, and customer expectations.
  • Communicate project updates clearly with clients and internal management through reports and verbal updates.
  • Provide leadership and direction to R&D personnel to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Drive continuous improvement efforts to enhance the efficiency of R&D operations and collaboration with other teams.
  • Maximize personnel resources by assigning tasks effectively based on team expertise and priorities.
  • Advocate for R&D needs by communicating requirements to both management and team members.
Required Qualifications:

5-8 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
3-5 years of experience in laboratory management within R&D.
Strong ability to manage multiple projects while balancing customer and business needs.
Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
Ability to effectively communicate project updates and technical information to various stakeholders.
Hands‑on experience with R&D facility and equipment maintenance.
Strong understanding of regulatory compliance within pharmaceutical R&D.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • ⭐ Experience leading efficiency and process improvement initiatives within R&D.
  • ⭐ Strong background in collaborating with cross-functional teams (business development, production, quality assurance).

This is a full-time, on-site role with a structured Monday Friday, 7 AM 4 PM schedule offering work-life balance with minimal overtime and no take-home work.
