Job summary

S&P Global Mobility in Southfield, MI is seeking a Research Analyst to join its North America ADAS and autonomous driving research team. You will conduct in-depth analyses of market trends, supply chain dynamics, and technology adoption to support clients and internal decision-makers.

Collaborate with global analysts and the local sales team to gather insights, present findings, and contribute to publications that shape the automotive market in North America.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in automotive industry or market research with a focus on business development or market analysis.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build and maintain relationships with industry stakeholders.
• Excellent analytical skills and the ability to translate complex data into strategic insights.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth research and analysis on ADAS, automated driving, and autonomous mobility and related technologies in the North America market.
• Research the supply chain and technology adoption trends in ADAS and autonomous driving and related technologies including SoCs.
• Provide insights and forecasts on market trends and technology developments within the ADAS and autonomous driving spaces.
• Build and maintain a strong industry network with car makers, suppliers, and tech companies in North America to gather insights and collaborate on research initiatives.
• Collaborate with global teams to integrate regional insights into broader research initiatives and monitor emerging trends and technologies.
• Work closely with the local sales team to support business development efforts in the region by providing market intelligence and strategic insights.
• Present findings to internal stakeholders and external clients to support strategic decision-making.
• Contribute to publications and reports that highlight the impact of ADAS and autonomous driving and electronics on the automotive industry.
• Engage with industry leaders and participate in relevant conferences to stay updated on the latest advancements.

The analyst will be part of a global team of experts specializing in ADAS and autonomous driving, electronics, and supply chains. Our team is part of a broader group of analysts worldwide, researching the vehicle market and its technologies and strengthening our position as the undisputed global market leader. The North American analyst will interact daily with colleagues across the globe and work closely with the local sales team and other analysts in the region covering the local vehicle market and related technologies, such as connected cars. Basic Required Qualifications:
