You will learn new skills and stay current with industry best practices and emerging technologies. The CATT Lab is looking to hire a Requirements Analyst. In this position, you will work with a team of product owners, UI/UX designers, software developers, and software testers. software testers, software developers, and project managers. This position requires strong communication skills to define functional and quality requirements that allow teams to plan the project and to design, build and validate the product. The Requirements Analyst should serve as a communication bridge between development stakeholders. Knowledge of transportation or GIS systems is particularly helpful. Essential duties and responsibilities: Elicit, document, refine, and manage technical requirements for multiple projects including web-apps, APIs, and data-related projects. Identify project stakeholders and user classes. Schedule and lead requirements walkthrough and review sessions for UX designers, developers, program managers, and QA Analyze user interface mockups and wireframes to document requirements, identify gaps in functionality, and recommend improvements. Work with management to manage changing requirements and minimize scope creep. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field 2+ years of experience performing requirement analysis in a software development environment 1+ years of experience working on software implementation projections. Experience interviewing executives to gather and document technical requirements and map processes.
