Job summary

Tripoint Solutions LLC is seeking a Business Analyst to gather and analyze requirements, engage stakeholders, and document solutions for software and business processes. The role supports software implementation, testing, and documentation activities, with a focus on clear communication across customers, developers, testers, and project leadership.

Location: Remote. Candidates must be willing to operate from states supported by Tripoint Solutions corporate offices. Secret clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in business analysis or requirements gathering.
• Proven experience documenting business requirements in professional services.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements.
• Engage with stakeholders at multiple levels to understand needs.
• Develop business cases, user stories, use cases, process diagrams, and test docs.
• Support software development, testing, validation, and implementation.
• Develop and maintain User Guides, Design Documents, Release Notes, SOPs.
• Review and edit technical and business documentation.
• Support COTS products such as SharePoint, Tableau, and Jira.
• Analyze customer requests, define solution scope, and coordinate with technical teams.
• Manage multiple projects while communicating with stakeholders.

Job Summary

The Business Analyst is responsible for supporting the successful delivery of software and business process solutions by gathering and analyzing requirements, facilitating stakeholder engagement, documenting business and technical solutions, and supporting software implementation and testing activities.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical, communication, and writing skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, developers, testers, and project leadership. This role requires someone who can translate complex business needs into clear, actionable requirements and effectively manage multiple high-visibility, time-sensitive projects.

Location: Remote.

The selected candidate must be currently located in, or willing to relocate to, a state supported by Tripoint Solutions corporate offices: No relocation assistance provided)

• Support software development, testing, validation, and implementation activities.
• Develop and maintain User Guides, Design Documents, Release Notes, and Standard Operating Procedures.
• Review and edit technical and business documentation.
• Support COTS products such as SharePoint, Tableau, and Jira .
• Analyze customer requests, define solution scope, and coordinate with technical teams.
• Manage multiple projects while communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
• ~2-5 years of experience in business analysis or requirements gathering
• ~ Proven experience in gathering and documenting business requirements in a professional services environment.
• ~ Strong proficiency with Microsoft Visio for process modeling and documentation.
• ~ Experience with data mapping, data cleansing, and gap analysis techniques.
• ~ Familiarity with user acceptance testing methodologies and execution.

Certification

• Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., Experience with Agile development methodologies
• Experience with cloud-based software development environments.
• Experience with SharePoint, Tableau, Jira, or other COTS applications.
• Experience supporting software testing and implementation.
