BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina is seeking a Representative, Provider Relations to support education and training for network providers, staff, and associated stakeholders. This full-time role is based onsite in Columbia, SC, with a standard 8:00 AM–5:00 PM schedule and occasional overtime or travel between buildings.

Key duties include creating and updating training materials, conducting workshops, fostering relationships with providers and affiliated groups, and preparing management

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; degree equivalency considered with 4 years related work experience or an Associate's and 2 years related work experience.
• Experience in customer service, claims processing, communications, education/training, provider relations, healthcare, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Develops, prepares, reviews, and updates all provider education materials (highlights, events calendar, job aids, resource tools, web content).
• Conducts/facilitates workshops and training class materials supporting teleconferences with providers, provider groups, staff, suppliers, physicians, beneficiaries, referral agents.
• Supports relationships with providers, provider groups, staff, suppliers, physicians, beneficiaries, and related associations; responds to educational needs.
• Produces and analyzes reports for management and participates in special projects as assigned.
