Envoy Air in Irving, TX is seeking an Inspector to ensure quality control of maintenance on Company aircraft and to oversee MSC audits. You will coordinate with vendors, monitor records, and ensure compliance with GPM procedures.

The role requires at least two years of aircraft maintenance experience and a valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant certificate, with strong English proficiency and the ability to work under QC oversight.

• Oversee maintenance providers as listed in Envoy ACMP per GPM 04-29.
• Conduct surveillance of assigned ACMP per GPM sections 04-15 to 04-18 and 04-28 to 04-31.
• Ensure Class III ACMP personnel are trained, qualified and authorized for maintenance and repairs on Company aircraft.
• Monitor maintenance forms and records; route daily and ship to Maintenance Records promptly.
• Monitor parts and materials for acceptability for installation on Company aircraft.
• Coordinate with vendors to ensure staff are trained and authorized for maintenance and repairs.
• Represent Maintenance and Quality Control for all MSC audits and ensure findings are cleared.
• Liaise between Company and ACMP; handle Station Receiving Oversight duties.
• Perform any other duties assigned by manager or director.

Responsibilities

• Inspection personnel (both full-time and designated) are under the independent control of QC whenever conducting a Required Inspection Item [Ref. GPM 19-00].
• Provides Company oversight of maintenance providers as listed in Envoy ACMP list as defined in GPM 04-29.
• Conducts surveillance of assigned ACMP as defined in the GPM Sections 04-15 through 04-18 and 04-28 through 04-31.
• Responsible for ensuring that Class III ACMP personnel are properly trained, qualified and authorized to perform maintenance and repairs on Company aircraft [Ref. GPM 04-29].
• Responsible for ensuring that all maintenance forms/records are being completed properly, accumulated and prepared for routing each day and shipped to Maintenance Records in the most expeditious manner.
• Monitors parts, components and materials to ensure acceptability for installation or use on Company aircraft.
• Coordinates with vendors to ensure personnel are properly trained, qualified and authorized to perform maintenance and repairs on Company aircraft.
• Represents Maintenance and Quality Control for all MSC audits.
• Ensures that all MSC audit findings are cleared.
• Performs as a liaison between Company and ACMP.
• Responsible for additional duties specific to the Station Receiving Oversight.
• Performs all other duties assigned by respective manager or director.

Qualifications

Who are we looking for?

Requirements

• Minimum Age 18
• Ability to read, write, fluently speak and understand the English language
• Possess the legal right to work in the United States
• Have at least two years’ experience in aircraft maintenance and hold a valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant
• Certificate or equivalent experience.
• Must have Fleet Qualification for the type of equipment responsible for.
• Must carry current QC Authorization [Ref. GPM 19-02].
• Must complete Envoy Inspector Training course (as applicable to assigned station).
• Must be knowledgeable of regulatory requirements.
• Refer to GPM 07-02 for required regulatory training.
