Qualifications

• Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate.
• R44 SFAR.
• Minimum 400 hours Rotorcraft PIC.
• Minimum 50 hours PIC Robinson R44.
• Current in the Robinson R44.
• Willingness to work long days, weekends, holidays.
• Flight weight under 215 lbs.
• U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
• Flexible schedule; weekends and holidays (Dec-Apr peak).
• Daily aircraft cleaning required.

Description

flyVENTURE (FAA Part 91) is seeking a motivated and customer-focused pilot to join our sightseeing tour team in Tampa, Florida. This is an excellent opportunity for pilots looking to gain rotorcraft experience while flying the Robinson R44 Clipper I/II (with floats) in one of the most scenic locations in Florida.

Candidate must be able to start immediately!

Location Requirement

• Pilots must be willing to relocate within 45 minutes of Tampa, FL (KTPF).

Compensation

• $85–$120 per day
  (Rate varies by weekday, weekend, holiday, and season)
• $20 per collective flight hour
• Typical tips: $75–$100 per day
  (Varies based on customer engagement, friendliness, and booking volume)
• $5 bonus for each positive customer review

Schedule

• Flexible scheduling — pilots self-manage their days off
• Operation averages 20–30 flight hours per month, with seasonal variation

Job Requirements:

• No accidents or FAA violations in last 10 years
• Applicant must be able to follow direction and work harmoniously in a highly-structured environment
• Must currently meet flight weight requirement of less than 215lbs
• Must be a U.S. citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident at time of application
• Candidates must have flexible schedule and availability on weekends and holidays, specifically December-April (peak season).
• Duties include, but are not limited to answering phone calls to answer questions and take reservations, daily cleaning of aircraft, refueling, keeping flight logs and inventory up to date, maintenance flights, etc.
• Must maintain the aircraft in an immaculate state at all times. THIS INCLUDES DAILY CLEANING AS PART OF STANDARD OPERATING PROCEDURES.
• Must have a professional and ‘clean-cut’ appearance.

Preferred Skills/Qualifications:

• Completed the Robinson Safety Course (preferred but not required)
• PIC recent experience (last 90 days) in Robinson R44
• Please highlight any non-aviation skills you might have

Position participates in FAA Drug and Alcohol Testing Program
