Job summary

This is a part-time hybrid Reporter role based in Dubai, with a mix of on-site work and some work-from-home flexibility. The Reporter researches energy-related developments, events, and industry trends, conducts interviews and verifies facts to ensure accurate coverage.

Qualifications

• Strong reporting skills, including information gathering, interviewing and fact-checking.
• Excellent writing and news writing abilities with clarity, accuracy and adherence to style guidelines.
• Effective communication for interacting with sources, colleagues and stakeholders.
• Basic multimedia skills to support news stories (photos, audio, or short video).
• Relevant experience in journalism, media, or related field; energy or business reporting is a plus.
• Ability to work to tight deadlines, manage multiple assignments, adapt to changing priorities.
• Proficiency in English; additional languages beneficial for regional coverage.
• Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, Media Studies, or related discipline preferred.
