Job summary

Integris BioServices, LLC dba KCAS Bioanalytical and Biomarker Services in Kansas City, MO is seeking a Report Coordinator II in the BioPharma Sciences (Finance) group. You will compile, format, review, and finalize scientific study reports with minimal supervision, ensuring accuracy and compliance with protocols and regulatory requirements.

You will work closely with BioPharma Sciences scientists, coordinate sections such as Materials and Methods and Summaries, import and validate data tables,

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related discipline preferred; equivalent relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
  • 2-5 years of related experience in scientific data presentation, report preparation, editing, or a similar field
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat; preferred experience with data management systems
  • Experience independently compiling, formatting, reviewing, or finalizing technical or scientific reports
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify inconsistencies and discrepancies within text, data, and tables
  • Strong written, verbal, and organizational skills with the ability to work independently
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines in a fast-paced scientific environment
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with scientists and other technical team members
  • Ability to learn and apply scientific terminology and understand the bioanalytical studies and data supported by the BioPharma Sciences team
  • Familiarity with GLP regulations and preclinical study protocols preferred
  • Ability to provide guidance and support to more junior team members while contributing to a collaborative team environment

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the preparation, review, and completion of scientific study reports
  • Compile and finalize complete report sections, including Materials and Methods and Summaries
  • Import, format, and validate scientific data tables for various study types
  • Proofread and review reports for technical accuracy and regulatory compliance
  • Identify inconsistencies and discrepancies and work with staff to resolve issues
  • Monitor deadlines using the Report Tracking Schedule
  • Communicate with scientists and study teams regarding requirements and timelines
  • Maintain accurate and organized report documentation
  • Manage multiple reports and priorities while maintaining accuracy
  • Serve as a resource to Report Coordinator team members on formatting and data presentation
  • Contribute to development and maintenance of templates and improved reporting processes
  • Maintain familiarity with reporting technologies and data management systems
  • Follow SOPs and established reporting processes and standards

Report Coordinator II - BioPharma Sciences (Finance)

When you work as a Report Coordinator II supporting the BioPharma Sciences team at KCAS, you get to further our mission by compiling, formatting, reviewing, and finalizing scientific data and reports generated from bioanalytical studies. You will work directly with our BioPharma Sciences scientists and study teams, independently supporting report preparation while ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance with departmental and study requirements.

Our BioPharma Sciences team conducts bioanalytical testing in support of drug discovery, preclinical, and clinical studies. As a Report Coordinator, you will work alongside our scientific teams to help transform study data and scientific information into accurate, consistent, and high-quality study reports.

In this role, we will rely on you to:
  • Work directly with BioPharma Sciences scientists and study teams to coordinate the preparation, review, and completion of scientific study reports
  • Compile and finalize complete report sections, including Materials and Methods and Summaries, with minimal supervision
  • Independently import, format, and validate scientific data tables for a variety of study types
  • Proofread and review reports for technical accuracy, consistency, formatting, and compliance with study protocols, SOPs, and applicable regulatory requirements
  • Identify inconsistencies or discrepancies within report text, scientific data, and tables and proactively work with scientific staff to resolve issues
  • Monitor and maintain deadlines for assigned reports using the Report Tracking Schedule
  • Communicate directly with scientists and study teams regarding report requirements, data, timelines, discrepancies, and information needed to support report completion
  • Maintain accurate and organized report documentation throughout the reporting process
  • Manage multiple reports and priorities simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and meeting established deadlines
  • Serve as a resource to Report Coordinator team members and provide guidance on report formatting, data presentation, and departmental reporting standards
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of departmental templates and support process improvements that enhance reporting consistency and efficiency
  • Maintain familiarity with applicable reporting technologies, data management systems, and software updates
  • Follow departmental SOPs and established reporting processes and standards
  • Perform all aspects of the job in a way that supports company brand and supports company mission, vision, and values
