Job summary

What You'll Be Doing

• Assist in the operation of the Stone processing plants.
• Check conveyors, screens, and crushers; report operating problems and oversize stone.
• Start and shut down plant equipment as necessary, and perform general clean up around the plant.
• Make minor repairs and adjustments, inspect and grease/lubricate plant equipment.
• Proficiently operate the plant and perform other miscellaneous duties as may be requested.

• Strong mechanical aptitude and the capability to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain plant and quarry equipment.
• Ability to understand and follow technical instructions, maintenance procedures, and safety practices.
• Awareness of safe work habits while working around heavy machinery and moving equipment.
• Physical ability to perform tasks including lifting, climbing, and working in outdoor and indoor industrial environments.
• Adaptability, problem‑solving skills, and a collaborative approach to supporting operational needs.

Conditions of Employment

• Successful candidate must submit to post‑offer pre‑employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check.
• Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing.

Work Environment

• Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
